Nice Jazzed up variation of a forthcoming song

runs in like a character
from some old western
telling the sheriff
the kid is back
nail shut your doors
he is back in town
and the earth shakes
as he approaches
noisy like a semi
devils on both shoulders
for inspiration
and a trail of zombies behind
he does not stop
he passes by
but most of them
are left
cold...
an invisible hand
trails as he passes
and everyone is touched

sun drooping in the sky
tearing away
from the great thumbtack
that holds it in place
his tears of pain drop
like acid
an empty room is alive
around the corner
but far away

as he pass
some may follow
and they are mindful
of the fire
falling from the sky...

we write the news
before it comes
someone kills a weed
and 13 better ones sprout
in it's place
and then someone else clones all of those. several weeds learn to speak, and this cycle begins again. and he can't take no more, so he rises out of his cave, like some mad shaman with a purpose...smelling the earth's skin burning. he opens a door.
somewhere else
a pair of eyes
open up...

he turns to tell them ...fear not...
...most of this is an illusion...
he tells them with something close
to certainty
...i'm pretty sure you're safe with me.....
