The Underground Sessions - Part 1

So the Underground sessions came about while finishing the tracks for "Voices". Like I said before I didn't plan on writing or recording anything else this year. I'll be the first to admit I am extremely happy that I did!

I ended up with a little over 2 hours of new music. So I set up a schedule for 3 EPs spaced out over the rest of the year, and finish things off, with a full LP. I wasn't sure how I was going to release the other tracks.

Usually when I have new music, I post it when it feels like it is done, and listen to it a lot...subjectively. I am checking it for the production, and the compositions. Does a song need a little push over the top...should I draw it in some? I think of it as a beta album, until I am finished. It's a commodity an online musician can fall back on.

So... like I said, I ended up with a little over 2 hours of new music. In my listening it occurred to me, that basically half it the tracks were heavier. It's a style I have tried and been successful with in the past. I decided to release the heavy stuff own it's own to start. I am going to follow up and release the whole session as a double album, on my original release date.

In the end, I was left with my favorite album to date...and in my opinion my best album. I'm very happy with the results, and proud as well.

As always I hope you enjoy it playing it, as much as I enjoyed making it.

Thanks for the Support,
-Mojo-

PLAY IT LOUD!

I created this music, and the art associated with it. It is my intellectual property. If an individual buys my music, that particular release belongs to them. However, the music itself is still mine. They paid for a copy. If that individual shares the music they purchased with another person/s I am okay with that. Provided of course they share it for free. If a person/s who acquires my music by either purchasing it, or gains a copy which was shared with them by another wishes to use my music for a project which does not gain them profit, I am also okay with that. Prior to using my music for said project, I wish to be notified and credited on the project. If the project is something which would gain the party profits, in addition to being notified, and credited I also would ask for a share of the profit, before giving permission for the use of my music.
